David Whittle
David gained his BA from the University of East Anglia, writing his thesis on the role of water in Islamic palaces, and followed this with an MA from the Courtauld Institute of Art, specialising in the art of Ancient Greece, Rome, and Turkey (Lycia).
Since then, David has worked in the arts and museum sectors, through education and learning, events and exhibitions, Visitor Services, collections, and fundraising. He has developed and delivered learning sessions and created educational resources for museums including Norfolk Museums, the Sainsbury Centre for Visual Arts, and Peterborough Museum.
David is passionate about bringing art and art history to a wider audience, particularly amongst students and youths in schools and local communities, sharing the importance of visual literacy, critical thinking, and cultural understanding.
