Ged Gast

Ged is a freelance art and design and school improvement specialist, working in creativity, visual literacy, critical thinking, SMSC and pedagogies for improving learning and teaching. He is a member of the NSEAD executive, their trade union Adviser and a Past President. He was formerly the Babcock Consultant for Creativity and an Ofsted Inspector from 1992 until 2014. Over his career, Ged has contributed to a range of guidance materials and publications including, the national strategy Assessment for Learning and Leading in Learning visual literacy materials, and project work for QCA and ACE.
