Laura Worsley

Laura Worsley has worked for more than a decade with primary, junior and early secondary teachers and students in the classroom, learning to look carefully at artworks and objects of craft and design using reflection and dialogue to explore visual ideas, history and narratives. She holds a doctorate in Art History Education and a master’s degree in Museum Studies with a strong focus on educational visits. She has run action research projects and workshops with Key Stage 1-2 teachers in state maintained schools and taught Visual Literacy with Art History to students across Key Stages 1-4. Laura works for the International Baccalaureate, as a paper writer and examiner for Art History (P2). She is also employed by Thames and Hudson, as an art history consultant on art-related book projects for primary/secondary children. In addition, Laura sits on the editorial board of the International Journal of Education Through Art and is a reviewer.
