Maud Hurley

Maud studied History of Art and Anthropology at McGill University and the University of Edinburgh before completing a master's degree in Medieval Studies at Oxford University. Her dissertation examined the interplay between Christian devotional practice and the material fabric of pre-Reformation churches. After a traineeship in the Print Room of the Ashmolean Museum and a brief stint working in development in a prep school, she re-launched History of Art at Radley College, where she still teaches. She also teaches History and Critical thinking, and champions the interdisciplinarity of her primary subject to all her students.
